Deborah became a licensed esthetician at the age of 19 and was quickly recognized for
her deft talent in Esthetic services.
From makeup and facials to Brazilian and male waxing, she learned the trade quickly
and was perfectly positioned to change with the profession as new kinds of anti-aging
technologies such as combined microdermabrasion/peels began to change the
standard of care in beauty treatments. Deborah is a considered a pioneer in the Spa
Industry by her colleagues having owned and operated “Skin Deep - The Body Spa” in
Huntington Beach for 18 years.

Consultation with Deborah
Deborah offers free half-hour consultations. You will be given a form that can help
Deborah understand some of the lifestyle factors that may influence your skin, such as
how much time you spend in the sun and what kinds of skin care you're using already,
as well as some of your main goals from treatment. Then she will evaluate your skin
and give you recommendations about how to meet your goals as well as educate you
on self-maintaining healthy skin. Every client is encouraged to become educated and
active participants in the care of their skin and she has various skin care treatments that
she is ready to recommend. Deborah is very results-oriented and will not only give you
long-term treatments, but also treatment options that can give you immediate results so
that you can look your best for any upcoming occasion.

Microdermabrasion and Peel Treatments
One of Deborah’s special procedures is her own unique combination of chemical peels
and microdermabrasion. Though either treatment works well separately, together they
can enhance one another to give even better results. She custom-mixes a special
chemical peel for each client and utilizes a microdermabrasion treatment to prep the
skin which allows the maximum penetration of the chemicals to jump-start the
exfoliation process. Deborah does recommend a patch test one week prior to your
treatment to gauge the sensitivity of your skin. This knowledge along with your goals
will help her determine the strength of the peel she selects for you. Deborah’s style of
chemical peel and microdermabrasion treatment is unique to her and available only with
